Trump talks to Putin before meeting with Zelenskiy

US President Donald Trump says he had a productive conversation with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin today.

According to "Komersant Ukrainian", Trump wrote about it on his social network Truth Social.

“I just had a good and very productive phone call with Putin before my meeting with Zelenskiy today,” Trump wrote.

Trump did not disclose any other details, but Putin’s office confirmed the fact of the conversation. They also did not provide details.

It is worth noting that earlier, Kremlin officials said that there were no plans for a conversation between Trump and Putin this year. However, Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Russia is preparing a contact with the United States to understand how much US leader Donald Trump’s peace plan has changed after being agreed with Ukraine.
