On the day of the US presidential election, November 5, presidential candidate Donald Trump arrived to vote in Palm Beach, Florida, with his wife Melania. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to The Guardian.
At the polling station, the politician appeared in a navy blue business suit and a baseball cap with the inscription “Make America great again”. He told reporters that he was “honored” to see such long lines at the polls.
“This is the best campaign we (Republicans – ed.) have ever run,” Trump said.
By the way, his opponent Kamala Harris voted by mail in California.
After the vote, the media asked Trump what he would do if his supporters, dissatisfied with the election results, started acting aggressively. The politician replied that his supporters “are not violent people.”
“They are not violent people… they are people who believe in the absence of violence. I don’t have to tell them that there will be no violence. Of course, there will be no violence,” said the American presidential candidate.
