Trump threatens Nigeria with invasion

U.S. President Donald Trump has instructed the Pentagon to prepare potential military action against Nigeria over crimes against Christians.
The head of the White House announced this on the social network Truth Social, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
According to the American leader, if the Nigerian authorities continue to allow such crimes to be committed, the United States will stop supporting the country.
“The United States will immediately cut off all aid and support to Nigeria and may well enter this now disgraced country fully armed to completely destroy the Islamic terrorists who commit these horrific atrocities,” Trump wrote.
The head of the White House added that the invasion of Nigeria would be “swift and hard,” and the attack itself would be “done with pleasure.”
The day before, Nigerian Foreign Minister Yusuf Tuggar said that despite the difficult situation, the country’s residents are not in danger. The ministry also noted that the state is fighting extremists who are “fueled by the special interests of the forces of disintegration and division in West Africa and the Sahel”.
