After several days of information silence, US President Donald Trump unexpectedly returned to an active presence on social media, dispelling rumors of his death. Within a few hours, he posted more than 40 posts on Truth Social, surprising both supporters and critics, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
The reason for the wave of speculation was his sudden disappearance from the public space, which was accompanied by the distribution of photos with traces of bruises and swelling on the politician’s hands.
Speculation about serious health problems circulated online, and even bad jokes under the hashtag “Trump is dead” gained considerable popularity after Vice President J.D. Vance posted on social media platform X. The day before, U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance expressed his readiness to take the place of the country’s president if a tragedy were to happen to the head of state. Vance noted that he had “gotten a lot of practice” during his tenure as vice president of the United States.
To dispel all speculation, Trump posted a short and rather optimistic message:
“I’ve never felt better in my life.”
By doing so, he not only refuted the gossip, but also gave a clear signal to his supporters that he was ready to continue his active political career.
During this media “comeback,” he managed to discuss election laws, criticize Democrats, express support for veterans, and even mention the legendary wrestler Hulk Hogan. Among the numerous posts were generated images showing him in unusual and even fantastical images.
