Trump decides not to impose new sanctions on Russia for now

US President Donald Trump has said that he sees no reason to think about imposing new sanctions against Russia, as his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin was good.
He made the statement in an interview with Fox News, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
“Today I think I don’t need to think about it. Let’s see what happens in two or three weeks. But today’s meeting went well,” the White House chief said.
on August 15, Putin and Trump held a summit in Alaska. The meeting was held at the Elmendorf-Richardson Joint Military Base in Anchorage. The main topic of the talks was the search for a long-term peaceful settlement of the war in Ukraine.
