Trump talks about new sanctions against Russia

US President Donald Trump has confirmed that the administration has discussed with members of Congress the possibility of imposing new sanctions against Russia.
He told reporters on board his plane on his way back from Florida to Washington, D.C., "Komersant Ukrainian" reports, citing a White House broadcast.
Answering the question, the American leader noted that the topic of sanctions is on the permanent agenda.
“We discuss it all the time,” Trump said.
At the same time, he made a remark about one of the initiators of the tightening of the regime, Senator Lindsey Graham, noting that he communicates with him mainly in a working manner on legislative initiatives.
At the end of December, American political scientist Rafael Ordukhanyan said that the United States could lift the sanctions imposed on Russia after a peace agreement on Ukraine is concluded.
