US President Donald Trump has said that he has no deadline for Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin to end the war in Ukraine.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

During a conversation with the press, Trump was asked whether he wanted to set a deadline for Putin to agree to the US peace plan. In response, he said the following.

“I have a deadline when the war is over. And I hope the war is over,” the White House chief said.

He also emphasized that over the past three to four weeks, allegedly 27,000 people have been killed, adding that the war must end.

In addition, Trump spoke about the US-Ukraine talks on a peace plan that took place in Florida on November 30.

“They are going well, and they are going well. We want to stop killing people,” he explained.

According to the American leader, there are good chances that an agreement will be reached.

Negotiations between the United States and Ukraine

On Sunday, November 30, the Ukrainian and American delegations met in Florida to continue working on finalizing the US peace plan.

The media reported that at this meeting, the Americans intended to resolve disputes over two key points of the document. These were territories and security guarantees. There was also information in the media that the negotiations raised the issue of the timing of the elections.

It should be noted that before the meeting, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke to the press. He explained to journalists that the goal of the peace plan was not only to end the war but also to preserve Ukraine’s sovereignty.

After the meeting, he emphasized that peace requires a second party, i.e., Russia, and added that the United States wants Ukraine to rebuild and is preparing for the country’s long-term prosperity.

By the way, National Security and Defense Council Secretary Rustem Umerov, who headed the Ukrainian delegation, also spoke about the results. He emphasized that there has been significant progress in promoting a decent peace.
