On February 3, US President Donald Trump continued to criticize Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy and said that “America will not stand for this for long,” responding to his recent comments about ending the war with Russia. Trump made the statement in his post on the Truth Social social network, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
“This is the worst statement Zelensky could have made,” Trump wrote.
The US leader also wrote the following:
“This is what I’ve been saying, this guy doesn’t want peace as long as he has America’s support, and Europe, in the meeting they had with Zelensky, explicitly stated that they can’t do this job without the United States.”

It is worth noting that US President Donald Trump has recently stepped up his criticism of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Tensions rose after a controversial meeting at the White House, where Trump accused Zelenskyy of obstructing America’s peace efforts.
The strained relationship has raised concerns about the future of U.S. support for Ukraine. European leaders, led by British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, are working to build a coalition in support of Ukraine, emphasizing continued military aid and economic pressure on Russia.
These developments have also affected the dynamics of NATO, as Trump’s rapprochement with Russia is causing concern among Allies. European countries are considering alternative security mechanisms and increasing defense spending to prepare for potential autonomy in the defense of the continent.
