Church calendar for 2025: when to celebrate Christmas, Easter and Trinity according to the new style

7 January 2025 23:50

In 2023, the PCU and UGCC in Ukraine switched to the New Julian calendar. As a result of this transition, most Orthodox holidays are now celebrated 13 days earlier. From now on, non-transitional holidays fall on the same day as Catholic holidays, while the dates of transitional holidays continue to be calculated according to the usual methodology.

In this material "Komersant Ukrainian" you will find the dates of the most important church holidays in 2025.
