The Bolt online ride-hailing service is resuming round-the-clock operations in 28 cities across Ukraine. Starting at midnight on Friday, February 20, users will once again be able to hail a taxi 24/7, including at night. The decision was made due to the difficult situation in the energy sector and the need to provide Ukrainians with transportation during power outages. This was reported by Bolt’s press service, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
Bolt taxis will operate around the clock: what has changed
The company noted that the resumption of 24/7 service is related to the needs of citizens during the war and energy instability.
As explained by Bolt, night trips are allowed for urgent needs, in particular:
- to get to a safe place during power outages;
- to reach points of resilience;
- to get access to water, heat, and communication;
- to deliver food, medicine, or other necessary items.

The service is available at night in 28 cities in Ukraine, including:
- Kyiv
- Bila Tserkva
- Vinnytsia
- Dnipro
- Drohobych
- Zhytomyr
- Zaporizhia
- Ivano-Frankivsk

- Kryvyi Rih
- Kremenchuk

Bolt emphasized that trips during curfew are only allowed if necessary.
In most cities, this may require:
- special passes;
- documents confirming the purpose of the trip.
The company urged users to use the service responsibly and not to violate martial law requirements.

The resumption of Bolt’s nighttime operations was an important step in supporting Ukrainians in the difficult conditions of war and energy restrictions.
