Bitcoin price soared to a record high

Cryptocurrency Bitcoin continues to grow in value and has updated its historical record, reaching more than $122 thousand. This is evidenced by CoinDesk data, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
Thus, this morning, the most popular cryptocurrency added 3.68% to its price and as of 12:57 a.m. Kyiv time it is worth $122,069.
Since December last year, Bitcoin has risen in price by more than 30%.
Other popular cryptocurrencies are also rising in price: Ethereum has already added about 1.5%, while XRP and Solana have added 2.7%.
The new record could be the result of President Donald Trump’s announcement of the US intention to impose a 30% duty on imports from the EU and Mexico.
In May, the price of Bitcoin on the stock exchange exceeded $109,000 for the first time, setting a historic high. This result was achieved against the backdrop of a significant inflow of funds, when spot exchange funds raised $3.6 billion.
A short time earlier, the cryptocurrency had surpassed $100,000 for the first time in several months, adding more than 3% in one day.
