What is known about Olena Shulyak
Head of the Servant of the People party, Head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on the Organisation of State Power, Local Self-Government, Regional Development and Urban Planning.
Head of the Coordination Council for Solving Problematic Issues in Urban Development under the President of Ukraine, Master of Business Administration, Certified Auditor (since 1999).
She graduated from the National Transport University with a degree in Economics and Management in Construction, the International Institute of Management with an MBA, and the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv with a degree in Psychology.
She started her business career after graduation. In 1999, O. Shulyak became a certified auditor, owner and director of Standard Audit Firm LLC.
In 2000-2006, she worked as the Director of the Department of Audit and Analysis of Financial and Economic Activities of Midland Group in Ukraine.
In 2005-2007, she was a member of the Supervisory Board of Express Bank CJSC.
From 2007 to 2014, she was CEO of Midland Development Ukraine.
In 2014-2015, she chaired the Supervisory Board of the Ukrainian Construction Community.
In 2014, she ran for the Kyiv City Council from the Democratic Alliance as number 5 on the list.
In 2017, she co-founded Kriator LLC, which is engaged in the leasing and operation of own or leased real estate in Kyiv.
In 2019, she was elected as a Member of Parliament of the 9th convocation from the Servant of the People party, number 13 on the list as a non-partisan. She was included in the electoral list of the Servant of the People party under the informal quota of former Prime Minister Honcharuk.
In August 2021, Shuliak was awarded the Order of Princess Olha, III degree, by a decree of President Volodymyr Zelenskyi.
