Digitalization in construction: “Diia helped save ₴13.7 billion

Ordering a construction passport, notification of the start of construction, obtaining an operating permit – these and 11 other construction services have been digitized since 2020. Ukrainians should order them from Diia: quickly, easily and without direct contact with officials.
According to a study by Civitta, 14 construction services are used 55,000 times every year in Diia. The economic effect is 3.3 billion hryvnias a year, of which 3.2 billion hryvnias is money that was spent on bribes, schemes, and intermediaries before the services were available in Diia, "Komersant Ukrainian" writes with reference to Diia.

To digitize construction services, the Unified Electronic System for Construction was created together with the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine. It replaced paper bureaucracy, streamlined document review, accelerated administrative services, and provided automatic checks and data exchange
