Cyclone from Greece will bring rain and sleet to Ukraine: weather forecast for November 29

Ukraine is preparing for the impact of atmospheric fronts from the cyclone that is currently raging over Greece. As early as Friday, November 29, precipitation in the form of rain and sleet will cover the western regions, the north of the country, as well as Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, and Odesa regions. This was reported by weather forecaster Natalia Didenko, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
On Friday, November 29, the southern regions will be the warmest in Ukraine. The temperature is forecast to reach 6… 11 degrees. However, it will also be warm in the western regions, 4… 7 degrees.
In the rest of Ukraine, frost is not expected during the day – 1…5 degrees. Although at night there will be slight “minuses”.
“But they won’t be harmful, except for a little jostling due to sluggish morning ice. Do not give in, let the soles be stable.” Due to the cyclone over Greece and its atmospheric fronts, Ukraine will also receive precipitation. On Friday, rain and sleet are expected in the western regions, northern Ukraine, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy and Odesa regions. The rest of Ukraine will be without precipitation, and there may even be sunny skies in Donetsk and Luhansk regions,” the report said.
On Friday, sleet and rain are expected in Kyiv. During the day, the southeast wind will be gusty, though not stormy. Air temperature at night will be around zero, during the day 1…3 degrees.
“On Saturday and Sunday, the weather throughout Ukraine will be determined by the anticyclone, which means it will be precipitation-free everywhere. And it will be relatively warm. You can go for a walk or sleep – plan something good, no matter what,” Didenko wrote.
According to the forecast of the Ukrainian Weather Center, rains and sleet will be observed in the western and Zhytomyr regions, and in Kyiv, Chernihiv, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad and Odesa regions during the day. Significant precipitation is not expected in the rest of the country.
Ice is expected on the roads of the northern, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytsky regions and the Carpathians, which may create difficulties for drivers. The wind will be mainly from the southeast, in the western regions it will change to the northwest at a speed of 5-10 m/s.
The air temperature will fluctuate between 2° Celsius and 3° Celsius throughout the day. At night in eastern Ukraine, the temperature will drop to 1-6° below zero. During the day, it will be warmest in the west and south of the country, where the temperature will rise to 3-8° Celsius, and in Odesa region and Crimea the temperature will reach 12°.
