On Friday, August 22, Ukraine will be hit by an active cyclone that will significantly affect weather conditions in many regions. According to weather forecaster Natalka Didenko, an atmospheric front from the Mediterranean Sea will bring thunderstorms, heavy rains and squally winds to the western, northern and most central regions of the country, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
Where to expect bad weather
- West, North, Center (except Dnipro) – rains, thunderstorms, sometimes heavy showers and squalls are expected.
- Odesa region – localized thunderstorms are possible.
- East and South – dry and hot weather will remain.
“The wind will be from the southwest, moderate, sometimes gusty – be careful!” warned Natalia Didenko.
