Tymoshenko takes part in prayer service before Trump’s inauguration

The leader of the Batkivshchyna party, Yulia Tymoshenko, was spotted in Washington, D.C., attending a prayer service that was one of the main events dedicated to the inauguration of Donald Trump. The photo from the prayer service was published by Telegraf, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
Today, January 20, Donald Trump and his wife opened the inaugural events. In particular, they visited St. John’s Church in Washington, DC. It has become a tradition for heads of state to attend a service in this church on the first day of the official work of new administrations.
There were about a hundred people in the church with Trump. The prayer service was attended by key members of Trump’s team, including his closest advisers, senior administration officials, and major political allies. Yulia Tymoshenko was also spotted among the attendees.

The Batkivshchyna party reported that Donald Trump had personally invited Yulia Tymoshenko to the inauguration.
“Donald Trump personally invited Yulia Tymoshenko to the inauguration. The event was attended by all the key members of Donald Trump’s team, including his closest advisors, senior administration officials and key political allies. Negotiations between Yulia Tymoshenko and members of Donald Trump’s closest team are not excluded,” the statement of the Turkivsky district organization of the Batkivshchyna party reads.

It should be noted that Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the United States Oksana Markarova attended the inauguration of Donald Trump.
