One thousand hryvnias from Zelensky will be available not only through Diia

The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine is developing a mechanism for paying eSupport through Ukrposhta branches for those citizens who do not have access to the Diia app. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy to the UNN agency, reports "Komersant Ukrainian"
The program will start on December 1, 2024, and provides for a one-time payment of UAH 1,000 for every citizen of Ukraine, except for those who are abroad. The Ministry emphasized the importance of this step to help the most vulnerable groups of the population in the context of the war, which has significantly worsened their situation.
Thus, a mechanism for receiving funds through Ukrposhta offices is currently being developed.
“The war has increased the number of socially vulnerable citizens, and the goal of the President and the government is to support every Ukrainian. The mechanism of the eSupport program is expected to be universal, not selective, so that citizens of all categories across the country can receive funds. We cannot predict which objects and cities the Russians may shell and where people will need help the most. The only exceptions will be those citizens who have traveled abroad,”
– the Ministry of Economy said.
The program includes not only adults but also children. One of the parents will be able to apply for a payment of UAH 1,000 for each child.
“These funds will not be taxed,”

“It will be possible to spend UAH 1,000 during 2025 to pay for utilities and other services, buy medicines, books, or donate to funds that support the Defense Forces,”

How to get a thousand hryvnias from Zelensky through Diia
In the Diia app, the option “Get 1000” to the National Cashback card will appear, and after using it, the money will be credited to the account.
Those who have already issued a National Cashback card and receive payments under this program do not need to do anything else.
Those who do not yet have a National Cashback card should take the following steps
- open a special account in your account – this can be done at a branch or through the application
- receive a virtual or physical card;
- give the bank permission to transfer information about transfers from selected cards;
- update the Diia app, select the National Cashback service, and specify the number of the issued card.
When the program is launched, the “Get 1000” option will appear in Diia, and the money will be credited to the account after it is applied.
