8 times more vacancies: how the supply of booking jobs in Ukraine has changed

According to OLX Work, the number of vacancies with the possibility of booking on the platform has increased 8 times over the past year. The growth was especially noticeable in the segment of blue-collar jobs, which are particularly important for the functioning of certain sectors of the Ukrainian economy, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
How job offers with reservations have changed
The largest number of such vacancies in Ukraine is in the category “Production, working professions” in the “Other” section. It usually offers vacancies in production (sawyers, cooks, machine operators, electricians, gas station attendants, etc.). The number of ads with these vacancies has increased* by 11 times.
There are also jobs with the possibility of booking in other categories. While in October 2024 there were dozens of them, in October 2025 there were hundreds, and sometimes more than a thousand. In particular, the most noticeable increase in supply from employers was observed for such vacancies:
- Handyman, the number of ads increased 18 times.
- Salesperson, the number of ads increased 13 times.
- Builder, the number of ads increased 9 times.
- Loader, the number of ads increased 8 times.
- Driver, the number of ads increased 5 times.
Changes in demand: which jobs with booking have the most responses
The demand for jobs with the possibility of booking has also increased. In October 2025, compared to October 2024, the number of responses in Ukraine as a whole was 16 times higher: their number increased from tens to hundreds and thousands.
The list of vacancies that are in demand among job seekers includes mostly the same ones that are in the top among employers. Among them:
- Salesperson, the number of responses increased 66 times.
- Handyman, the number of responses increased 38 times.
- Construction worker, the number of reviews increased 9 times.
- Driver, the number of reviews increased 8 times.
- Loader, the number of responses increased 7 times.
In which regions are there the most vacancies with booking
In October 2025, the largest number of vacancies with the possibility of booking was recorded in the Kyiv region: almost 2 thousand. In the range of 300 to 700 in Dnipropetrovska, Lvivska, Kharkivska, Odeska regions. The number was somewhat lower in Zaporizhzhia and Ivano-Frankivsk regions (200 to 250). In other regions, the number of job offers for booking jobs on the platform mostly ranges from 100 to 200.
The highest median salaries for vacancies with reservations in October 2025 were observed in the following regions:
- Ivano-Frankivsk – 40 thousand UAH.
- Kherson and Ternopil – UAH 35 thousand.
- Kyiv – 33.4 thousand UAH.
- Lviv and Volyn – 32.5 thousand UAH.
During the year, vacancies with reservations turned into a separate segment of the labor market, with high demand, stable salaries, and geographical centers of concentration. Sectors that are critical to the economy are actively seeking to retain employees, and Ukrainians are increasingly choosing jobs with this condition.
The interest of job seekers in Ukraine has also increased: the number of responses has increased 16 times. Kyiv and the western regions are leading regionally, with the highest salaries for such vacancies.
