“Dii” has simplified the process of extending employee reservations: how the new service works

Ukraine has updated the procedure for extending the military deferment status of employees through the “Diya” app. Companies can now extend deferments without first revoking an employee’s status, which significantly simplifies the process. This was reported by the “Diya” service, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"
What has changed in the reservation procedure
Previously, employers had to first cancel an employee’s reservation and then submit a new application. This could result in gaps where the employee lost their protected status.
Now the procedure is seamless—the reservation is extended automatically without canceling the previous decision. The entire process takes up to 24 hours.
Who can use the service
The service is available to:
- legal entities
- company branches
- enterprises with critical infrastructure status.
Applications may be submitted by:
- the company’s director
- an official signatory under the Unified State Register
- an authorized representative.

How to extend a reservation through “Diyu”
To use the service, you need to follow a few steps:
- Log in to the “Diya” portal as a manager or authorized representative
- Select the service to extend employee reservations
- Verify the company details that the system pulls automatically
- Select the employees for whom you want to extend the reservation
- Review the generated application
- Sign the document with a digital signature
When automatic renewal is possible
Continuous renewal is possible if:
- the authority that granted the status of a critical enterprise has not changed
- the employee’s position or role has not changed.
In this case, the system performs the procedure without additional checks.
