On Sunday, March 8, Italy will host the next 10 medal events of the XIV Winter Paralympic Games.
The winners and medalists in two sports—para-biathlon and para-snowboarding—will be determined at the 2026 Winter Games, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
Schedule of competitions for Ukrainians on the second day of the 2026 Paralympics (March 8):
11:30 a.m. Para-biathlon. Individual race, men, sitting class (Grigory Shimko, Pavel Bal, Alexander Alexik, Vasily Kravchuk, Taras Rad)
12:00 p.m. Para snowboarding. Snowboard cross, men, SB-UL class (Vladislav Khilchenko)
1:10 p.m. Para biathlon. Individual race, women, standing class (Lyudmila Lyashenko, Bogdana Konashuk, Oleksandra Kononova, Iryna Buy)
13:30. Para biathlon. Individual race, men, standing class (Serafim Dragun, Grigory Vovchinsky, Dmitry Sereda, Sergey Romanyuk)
14:15. Para-biathlon. Individual race, women, visually impaired (Romana Lobasheva, Ilona Kazik, Oleksandra Danilenko, Oksana Shishkova)
15:00. Para-biathlon. Individual race, men, visually impaired (Dmytro Suyarko, Maksym Murashkovsky, Yaroslav Reshetinsky, Anatoliy Kovalevsky, Oleksandr Kazik).
As reported, the Ukrainian team is represented in four sports: para-biathlon, para-running, para-alpine skiing, and para-snowboarding.
The “blue and yellow” team consists of 35 participants, including 25 Paralympians and 10 guide athletes (guides).
