Truck traffic restricted in two regions: Ukrtransbezpeka explains the reasons

On Friday evening, January 30, due to difficult weather conditions and increased risks to road safety, the State Service of Ukraine for Transport Safety introduced temporary restrictions on the movement of large and heavy vehicles in the Poltava and Dnipropetrovsk regions. This was reported by the State Service for Transport Safety (Ukrtransbezpeka), according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
According to the service, the decision was made to reduce accidents during bad weather and ensure safe passage along key highways.
Where exactly are the restrictions in place?
Poltava region — from 8:00 p.m. on January 30, traffic is restricted on the following sections:
- M-03 Kyiv — Kharkiv — Dovzhansky
(from the border with Kyiv region to the border with Kharkiv region: km 126,528 — 337,880, km 341,919 — 396,094); - M-22 Poltava — Oleksandriya
(from Poltava to the border with Kirovohrad Oblast: km 1,655 — 103,679; km 117,148 — 126,340); - H-31 Dnipro — Tsarychanka — Kobelyaky — Reshetylivka
(from M-03 to the border with Dnipropetrovsk region: km 97,075 — 176,159).
Dnipropetrovsk region — from 20:40 on January 30:
- H-31 Dnipro — Tsarychanka — Kobelyaky — Reshetylivka
- (km 42,080 — 97,075 in the direction of Poltava region).

Ukrtransbezpeka urged road users to plan their routes taking into account the restrictions and to strictly comply with safety requirements. In the event of an accident involving freight or passenger transport, please immediately notify the duty officer at 38 (050) 508-32-86.
