Power outage schedules canceled in two regions

10 December 2024 10:44

Power outage schedules have been canceled in two regions of Ukraine today. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to Lvivoblenergo and Prykarpattyaoblenergo.

Thus, until the end of the day, December 10, hourly power outage schedules will not be applied in Lviv region.

In addition, hourly power outage schedules have been canceled in Ivano-Frankivsk region until the end of the day.

As of 10 am, there are no details on other regions from Ukrenergo and regional companies.

DTEK also reports only about stabilization blackouts that will last until 22:00.

Despite the gradual improvement in the blackout situation, power companies are asking consumers to consume electricity reasonably to reduce the load on the grid and avoid emergency outages.

At the same time, the time of application and the scope of restrictions during the day may change. For up-to-date information on the schedules of outages in a particular region, please visit the website or official pages of the regional power distribution companies in social networks.

It is noted that Ukrenergo determines only the number of queues to be de-energized. The schedules of outages for each individual queue are determined by the regional power distribution companies.

It should be reminded that consumers in each region that are not included in the list of critical infrastructure facilities are divided into 6 queues (groups).

The application of restrictions to three queues means that half of the consumers in each region are subject to hourly outage schedules. Four queues mean restrictions for up to 70% of consumers in each region.

When oblenergos apply one stage of outage schedules, it means 4 hours of restrictions per day, two stages – 8 hours of restrictions, three stages – 12 hours of restrictions, four stages – more than 12 hours of restrictions.

How to distribute this load during the day and how long the queue will be is the responsibility of the regional power distribution companies.

It should be noted that starting in January 2025, the principle of power outages may be radically changed and Ukraine may be divided into three zones.
