Two border crossing points on the border with Poland have suspended the processing of trucks with cargo

At the Ukrainian-Polish border, at the Shehyni-Medyka and Rava-Ruska-Hrebenne checkpoints, temporary restrictions are in place for the clearance of freight vehicles leaving Ukraine due to a database malfunction.

According to "Komersant Ukrainian", the State Border Service reported this on Facebook

“According to information from the Polish side, the database used to process cargo vehicles leaving Ukraine (entering the Republic of Poland) has been temporarily suspended at the Medyka and Hrebenne checkpoints,” the statement said.

At the Korczowa checkpoint, the Polish customs service database is operating at a reduced capacity.

Empty freight vehicles are being processed as usual.

Other types of transport (cars, buses, pedestrians) are undergoing border and customs procedures without change.

According to preliminary information, the Polish customs database is expected to be fully operational again by 22:00 (Ukrainian time) on January 18, 2026.

The State Border Service of Ukraine notes that the restrictions apply to freight vehicles with cargo leaving Ukraine through the Shehyni and Rava-Ruska checkpoints.

At the Krakivets checkpoint, cargo clearance is being carried out at a slower pace.

Drivers are asked to take this information into account when planning their route.
