Denis Diderot museum robbed in France

A few hours after the robbery at the Louvre in Paris, unknown persons stole valuable exhibits from the Denis Diderot Museum in Langres.
This is reported by France Info radio station, citing a statement from the mayor’s office, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
According to law enforcement agencies, thieves broke into the Denis Diderot House of Education at night, breaking the front door and smashing the window. The missing part of the museum’s “treasures” was a collection of gold and silver coins minted between the 18th and 19th centuries. Other exhibits were not damaged.
In connection with the incident, the museum is closed to the public. The French Ministry of the Interior ordered to immediately strengthen the protection of museums and cultural heritage sites across the country.
On the morning of October 19, the Louvre was attacked by robbers who entered the Apollo Gallery and stole nine pieces of jewelry. The crown of Empress Eugenie, the wife of Napoleon III, has already been found. The attackers are wanted.
