France expects the 18th package of EU anti-Russian sanctions to be approved in the coming days.
This was stated by the country’s Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot on the air of LCI, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
“In the coming days, as the negotiations are coming to an end,” he answered the question.
Borro added that “Europe is coordinating efforts on this issue with US senators.”
Earlier, European Council President Antonio Costa said that the summit in Brussels failed to approve the 18th package of sanctions against Russia. At the same time, he noted that work on it continues and is at the final stage.
