In the Carpathians, 80 tourists got stuck on a ski lift, some of them have already been rescued

On the afternoon of December 26, a chairlift stopped working on Zakhar Berkut mountain in Lviv region. About 80 people were stuck on it.
This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the State Emergency Service.
“A chairlift with about 80 people on it has stopped on Mount Zakhar Berkut,” the report says.
Mountain rescuers of the State Emergency Service are working at the site. As of 13:10, 42 people have already been removed, including 22 children. The work continues.
As a reminder, winter has spread from the Carpathians to the entire territory of Ukraine. On Friday, December 26, snow, blizzards, ice, and wind gusts of up to 15-20 m/s were reported across the country. Due to the difficult weather conditions, utilities in the regions are working in emergency mode.
