Mandatory evacuation of neighborhoods and starostas announced in Kherson: list

The list of territories from which mandatory evacuation has been announced has been updated in the Kherson region. This was announced by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Yaroslav Shanko, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
The relevant decision was made during a meeting of the Regional Defense Council after hearing a report on the security situation and the evacuation of the Kherson community.
The reason for the intensification of evacuation measures was constant enemy shelling and drone attacks on these settlements. As the regional authorities emphasized, these are areas that are at high risk and threaten the lives of civilians.
The list of areas where mandatory evacuation has been announced:
- inzhenerne village;
- Komyshanske, Sadivske and Antonivske starostas, in particular, 1-34 Vostochni streets;
- in the city of Kherson – Korabel (Island), Yantarny-1, Yantarny-2 neighborhoods, as well as Andriy Orlov, Grecheskaya, Sobornaya, Perekopskaya streets and all lanes located down to the Dnipro.
Entry ban for families with children
At the same time, a ban on the entry of families with children to these areas has been introduced. This decision was made to minimize the risks to the most vulnerable.
Evacuation assistance
Local authorities urge citizens not to delay their departure and promise full support. In cooperation with volunteers, they have organized
- transportation for evacuation;
- accommodation in safe areas;
- humanitarian aid;
- assistance in obtaining government benefits and assistance from charitable foundations.
