29 January 14:09
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov said at a briefing that he could not yet comment on reports of an alleged energy truce with Ukraine or negotiations on this issue.
This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to Russian propaganda media.
“I cannot comment yet,” said the Kremlin representative in response to a request to disclose details of a possible agreement.
He stressed that the Kremlin currently has no information that it could confirm publicly.
What preceded it
Today, January 29, Russian public figures and a number of media outlets spread information that Russia had allegedly banned strikes on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. Subsequently, statements appeared that the same ban applies to strikes on Russian territory.
“It seems that the energy truce is in effect on both sides. We’ll see how it’s implemented,” said Konstantin Nemichev, founder of the Kraken division.
At the same time, some Ukrainian Telegram channels reported that there is currently no final decision on the cessation of strikes on energy facilities between the countries. For this reason, all Ukrainians were urged to remain vigilant.
