The press secretary of the Russian dictator Dmitry Peskov spoke on the sidelines of the EAEU meetings in Minsk about the timing of the third round of talks between Moscow and Kyiv.

His words were reported by the Belarusian TV channel Pervyi Informatsionnyi, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

Peskov said that no new meetings between Moscow and Kyiv have been scheduled so far.

“We are waiting for the third round of talks. We hope that the timing of the third round will be clear in the coming days,” the spokesman said.

Before that, he said that the dynamics of the negotiation process on a settlement in Ukraine depends on Kyiv and Washington. The Kremlin spokesman noted that Russia’s position is “well known” and mentioned that the negotiations “cannot abstract” from the real state of affairs.
