The Russian side is taking all aspects into account in the context of negotiations on Ukraine, and Moscow remains open to the negotiation process.
This was stated by Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov, according to "Komersant Ukrainian", citing Russian propaganda media.
“We take into account all aspects down to the smallest details and remain open to negotiations because it is in our interests,” said the Kremlin representative.
Peskov also said that Zelensky could eventually become a “bad boy” for Europe. In his opinion, European countries may change their attitude towards the Ukrainian leader in the future. However, as Peskov noted, by that time, the negative consequences for the economies of European countries will already be apparent.
Breakdown of peace talks due to conflict in the Middle East
It should be recalled that since the beginning of 2026, Ukraine, the US, and Russia have already held three rounds of trilateral peace talks on ending the war.
It is this year that attempts to achieve peace have become most active. Despite the unresolved territorial issue, the parties are finding compromises in other areas, and the process is moving forward in one way or another.
The fourth round of talks, which should have brought the parties closer to a decision, was scheduled for March 4-5. It was to take place in Abu Dhabi, but due to the situation in Iran, the meeting has been postponed for an indefinite period.
However, it should be added that over the past few days, comments about Ukraine have begun to emerge again from the White House.
In particular, White House spokeswoman Caroline Levitt said that US President Donald Trump still believes in the possibility of achieving peace between Ukraine and Russia. Trump’s special representative Steve Witkoff also announced new results in the coming weeks.
