Hiking trails on Mount Ai-Petri, located in Crimea, have been closed due to a fire in an open area of a nature reserve near Yalta.

This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to Russian media.

According to the report, none of the tourists who were on the routes were injured. There were also no appeals or complaints from them.

The fire in the area of Crimean Yalta reportedly started on August 9. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, the fire started in the Vasilievka neighborhood, where dry vegetation caught fire.

Firefighting is complicated by the inaccessibility of the area, as well as unfavorable weather conditions – high temperatures and strong winds.
