In Kyiv, Borrell spent the morning in shelter due to Russian attack

High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell, who is on a visit to Kyiv, was forced to take cover in the morning because of the air alert in Kyiv. He wrote about it on his Twitter page X (Twitter), "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
“I start my day in Kyiv in a shelter when Russia launches another missile attack. This is the daily reality for the Ukrainian people since Russia’s full-scale invasion,” Borrell said.
He also posted a photo of himself in the shelter.

As you know, Borrell arrived in Kyiv on Saturday, November 9. This is his fifth visit since Russia’s full-scale invasion.
Borrell noted that this is his last visit to Kyiv as High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.
“EU support for Ukraine has been a personal priority throughout my mandate and will remain at the top of the EU agenda,” he emphasized.
