Komersant reports.

As Euractiv reported on August 20, after talks with US President Donald Trump, European leaders are moving towards creating a framework of security guarantees for Kyiv.

It is noted that this project should pave the way for possible negotiations between the presidents of Russia and Ukraine. The article says that the level of protection for Ukraine remains largely uncertain, and that working out the details will require careful negotiations.
