Woman found dead under rubble of house in Kyiv’s Pechersk district

The body of a dead woman was found in a residential building in Kyiv’s Pechersk district damaged by a Russian drone attack. This was reported by the Kyiv City Military Administration, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
“A dead woman was found in a residential building in the Pechersk district, which suffered as a result of a morning attack by Russian drones, during the rubble removal work. The rescue operation continues,” the statement said.
Meanwhile, the Office of the Prosecutor General clarifies that the number of victims has increased to seven, including two pregnant women.
As a reminder, last night and in the morning, Russians attacked Kyiv with “shaheds”. The wreckage of the downed drones fell in two districts – Pechersk and Sviatoshynskyi.
A little later, the Air Force reported how air defense worked in 10 regions on New Year’s Eve.
Thus, the enemy attacked from the directions of the Russian cities of Bryansk, Orel, Primorsko-Akhtarsk and the temporarily occupied Crimea. This attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups.
“As of 09.30, 63 Shahed attack UAVs and other types of drones have been confirmed downed in Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Zaporizhzhia, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytsky, Kirovohrad and Mykolaiv regions,” the statement said.
Also, due to the active counteraction of the Defense Forces, 46 imitator drones were lost locally (without negative consequences). Two more flew to Russia and Belarus
