A fire broke out at the Roshen factory in Kyiv on Saturday, September 6. The fire has already been extinguished, and there were no casualties.

This was reported by Pavlo Petrov, a spokesman for the Kyiv State Emergency Service, in a commentary to RBC-Ukraine, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

Today, it was reported online that smoke was spotted over the Roshen confectionery factory in the Demiivka district of Kyiv. The corresponding videos with smoke were published on Telegram channels.

Pavlo Petrov, a spokesman for the Kyiv State Emergency Service, confirmed in a comment to RBC-Ukraine that a fire had broken out on the territory of the Roshen confectionery factory.

According to him, the fire has already been extinguished. Fortunately, there were no injuries.

“Our rescuers were not involved, everything was extinguished before the arrival of fire and rescue units. There was a fire, but it was minor and they managed it on their own. There were no casualties,” said Petrov.

It should be noted that Roshen Kyiv Confectionery Factory is located on Demiivska Square. It was founded in 1874 and has been operating as a division of Roshen Confectionery Corporation since 2018.
