Another multi-storey building damaged by a Russian missile is restored in Kyiv

Work has been completed on the restoration of a 25-story building on Metropolitan Lipkivsky Street in the Solomyansky district of the capital, which was hit by a Russian missile last summer. This was announced by Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

He reminded that, unfortunately, 5 residents of the building were killed and 11 were injured. Apartments on 10 floors were damaged.

According to the mayor, since November last year, specialists have been rebuilding the damaged floors and apartments.

In particular, the reinforced concrete monolithic structures of the building’s frame, internal and external walls, and partitions were restored at the expense of the Kyiv budget reserve fund. The façade was finished, window and door units were installed, and 3 elevators were replaced. In total, 35 apartments were repaired. The roofing was also completed, smoke removal and ventilation systems, electrical and plumbing networks were restored.

Vitali Klitschko reminded that for almost 3 years, almost 2,000 objects have been damaged in the capital as a result of Russian barbarians’ attacks, including 1,310 apartment buildings. At the expense of the city, 22 of the 36 most damaged residential buildings have been completely rebuilt. Residents of the restored buildings have already returned to their apartments.
