Power facility explodes in Kyiv: details and photos

On Thursday, 27 June, an explosion occurred at a power facility in Kyiv. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" citing a post on the official Telegram channel of the city’s mayor, Vitali Klitschko.
“An explosion and fire occurred at a power facility in the Shevchenkivskyi district of the capital. All services are on their way to the scene,” Vitali Klitschko wrote.
A little later, he said that a short circuit had occurred at a transformer substation in the Shevchenkivskyi district of the capital, and smoke was observed.
At the same time, local Telegram channels published the first footage from the scene of the incident.

Eyewitnesses reported that a fire was burning inside.
There has been no information on injuries or damage at the site of the explosion from medics or the State Emergency Service.
