Bodies of three more women recovered from the rubble of a multi-storey building in Kyiv

The bodies of three more people were recovered during rescue operations in Kyiv’s Shevchenkivskyi district, which was hit by a Russian missile on 8 July. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration Vitali Klitschko.

First, he reported the bodies of two women. Then he reported about one more dead person.

“There are already 11 dead in this house. The search and rescue operation continues,”

– he said.

This is the fourth body found under the rubble by the State Emergency Service on 9 July – a boy was reported dead in the morning.

The head of the Kyiv city military administration, Serhiy Popko, said that as of 12:15 a.m. on 9 July, 31 people had been killed and 117 injured.

Rocket attack on Kyiv on 8 July

On the morning of 8 July, Russian forces attacked Kyiv. Damage was recorded in 7 districts of the city – Solomianskyi, Dniprovskyi, Darnytskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, Desnianskyi, Shevchenkivskyi and Holosiivskyi.

In particular, the Russians attacked the Okhmatdyt children’s hospital. One of the Russian missiles hit the intensive and efferent therapy unit for chronic intoxication of the National Children’s Specialised Hospital “Ohmatdyt”, damaging 5 buildings.

Two people died there, including doctor Svitlana Lukyanchuk. the 30-year-old from Lviv worked there as a paediatric nephrologist.

Seven people were also killed in a Russian strike on the private ADONIS clinic in the Dnipro district of Kyiv.

As of 12:22 p.m., the death toll from the missile strike increased to 31 people. The Russian occupiers killed four children.
