The largest float glass plant in Ukraine to be built in Kyiv region

The Ukrainian company NovaSklo has signed an agreement with Pilkington Technology Management Limited (NSG Group) to cooperate in the construction of a float glass plant in Kyiv region, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports, citing a company release.
According to the agreement, NSG Group engineers will provide technical support at all stages of the project – from design to launch. A master plan has already been developed, which takes into account the requirements of international glass consumer companies.
The plant will be the first production facility of this scale in Ukraine to operate in accordance with international energy efficiency and safety standards. It is planned to engage consultants to optimize technologies, implement emission control systems, and manage energy consumption and risks.
NovaSklo reported that the company will create more than 300 jobs and reduce the country’s dependence on glass imports.
Representatives of NSG Group emphasized that the deal is an example of global players’ participation in the development of the Ukrainian industry.
