Drones attacked an oil refinery in the Leningrad region of Russia

On the night of October 4, drones attacked the Kirishi oil refinery in Russia’s Leningrad region.
According to Russian emergency services, several drones were flying toward strategic facilities in the region, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
Around two in the morning, residents of Kirov and Vsevolozhsk districts heard loud explosions and saw bright flashes in the sky.
The regional governor said that the air defense forces allegedly shot down several targets.
At the same time, local sources report that an oil depot was hit and a fire broke out.
On social media, eyewitnesses wrote that the drones hit the oil refining facilities directly.
It should be noted that the Kirishi refinery is one of the ten largest oil refineries in Russia: its capacity is over 20 million tons of oil per year.
As a reminder, on the night of September 14, attack drones already attacked the Kirishi oil refinery.
