Ukrainian restaurant Sino is opening in London. What will be served there

This May, another restaurant will appear in the British capital to present a modern take on Ukrainian food. This was written by the Hot Dinners publication, informs
The restaurant will be opened by Ukrainians Polina Sycheva and chef Yevhen Korolev, who has worked in Michelin-starred restaurants across Europe.
According to the publication, the name Sino in Ukraine means “hay”, and this is reflected in the proposed complex menu of the restaurant.
What will the Ukrainians treat their guests with?
Visitors to Sino restaurant will be able to taste and appreciate
– a decoction of wild mushrooms infused with hay;
– marinated eggplant with dill flowers, fennel and garlic;
– beef tartare with porcini mushroom sauce, Jerusalem artichoke chips and lovage oil;
– bBQ catfish in cherry sauce with fried parsley root, sausage, dried grated mussels and bell pepper sauce;
– dumplings with beef tail, spicy broth and homemade mushroom sauce;
– nut ice cream with chocolate and smoked plum mousse.
The cocktail menu was developed by Ukrainian Anna Reznik. For example, visitors will be able to order milk punch with buckwheat, cardamom, vanilla and aged rum.
As you know, a few days ago a restaurant of Bessarabian cuisine, Tatar Bunar, opened in London by Ukrainian businessman Alex Cooper. The Ukrainian restaurateur named his new London restaurant after his hometown in southern Bessarabia and intends to “cook modern food there, full of childhood memories, traditions and maternal tastes.”
Among the dishes already available at this London restaurant are onion bread, dumplings with cabbage and minced meat, banosh with mushrooms, and more. The bar offers wines from Ukrainian producers, including Kolonist, Beykush, Stakhovsky, and Villa Tinta.
