The Ministry of Energy claims that the data on the accident at the South Ukrainian NPP is fake

The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine has once again denied the information about the accident at the South Ukrainian Nuclear Power Plant spread by Russian propagandists. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.
“All nuclear power plants in the government-controlled territory are operating normally. The fake about the ‘accident at the South Ukrainian NPP’ was first spread by Russian propaganda in the Ukrainian information space in response to its own attempts to cover up the accident at the Rostov NPP, which had appeared in the media earlier,” the statement said.
The ministry noted that despite the official refutation of the Centre for Strategic Communications and Information Security, Ukraine has begun to openly manipulate the state of the nuclear power plant’s equipment.
The Ministry of Energy assured that no power transformer outage, as described in the fake news, had occurred at the plant.
“If such an event had occurred, it would have made it impossible to supply electricity and would have indeed led to the need to shut down the nuclear unit. Damage to other equipment does not affect the operation of the unit and can only have a short-term (within hours) impact on the ability to generate electricity. This is a direct result of targeted attacks by Russians on energy infrastructure facilities and abnormal weather conditions. This situation cannot be considered an “accident at a nuclear power plant”. The nuclear power unit is in good working order,” the ministry said.
The ministry appealed to the National Security and Defence Council and the Security Service of Ukraine to take measures to bring to justice those who “spread Russian propaganda and destabilise the situation in Ukraine”.
It should be noted that on 23 July, Russia launched a new fake about an alleged accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant that caused a massive radiation release. The enemy’s IPSO was debunked by rescuers of the State Emergency Service and Stop Fake fact-checkers.
It should be noted that this is not the first provocation by the Russians related to the energy sector.
on 16 July, they spread information about an alleged accident at the South Ukrainian Nuclear Power Plant, which resulted in the burning of transformers and a deterioration in the power supply situation.
