The Ministry of Education explained why teachers cannot apply for a deferment through “Reserve”

It is currently technically impossible for teachers to apply for a deferment from mobilization through the Reserve application. After all, information about employees of general secondary education institutions is not entered into the USES. This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

According to the ministry, the “Reserve” application now offers the function of deferment for scientific, scientific-pedagogical and pedagogical workers of higher, professional pre-higher, vocational education and research institutions, information about which is contained in the Unified State Electronic Database on Education (USEDE).

At the same time, the Ministry of Education emphasized that information about employees of general secondary education institutions is not included in the USEDB. This means that it is currently technically impossible for them to apply for a deferment through the “Reserve” application.

However, employees of general secondary education institutions, as well as representatives of other categories, can apply for a deferment in accordance with certain legal provisions.

To do this, you need to contact the territorial centers of recruitment and social support (TSC and SP) with a full package of documents.

Who can get a deferment

In order for an employee of an educational institution to be able to apply for a deferment through the Reserve , the following marks must be made in the Unified State Electronic Database on Education (USEDE ):

The main place of work is at the relevant educational institution;
Therate is not less than 0.75;
Belonging to the personnel group of the educational process – in the field of higher, professional pre-higher, vocational education or an administrative position belonging to the teaching category.

How to apply

The application procedure through the application is simplified as much as possible:

Open the Reserve ;
Click on the three dots on the main screen;
Select “Apply for a deferment”;
Select the appropriate category;
Wait for a notification with the result.

If the system does not grant a deferral

If all the criteria are met, but the Reserve does not allow you to apply, you should contact the employer, that is, the management of the educational institution. They should check the relevance of the data in the USES and, if necessary, clarify or update it.
