Parliamentary elections begin in Moldova

Polling stations have opened in Moldova for the parliamentary elections.
This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to local media.
At 07:00, more than 2.2 thousand polling stations opened in the country, and another 301 are operating abroad.
3.2 million citizens, including young people who will vote for the first time, are eligible to vote.
Twenty-three competitors, including 15 parties, four blocs and four independent candidates, will compete for the right to participate in the parliament. In total, there are 101 seats in the parliament.
According to opinion polls, Our Party and the Alternative bloc have high chances of overcoming the threshold – various studies predict that these forces will receive between 4 and 10% of the vote.
In general, parties need at least 5%, electoral blocs need 7%, and independent candidates need 2% to get into parliament.
Elections are recognized as valid if at least 30% of citizens turn out. Voting is open until 21:00.
