Journalist Vitaliy Glagola, citing sources in law enforcement agencies, said that Andriy Parubiy was allegedly shot as many as 8 times.

As reported, on August 30, an unknown gunman killed the former head of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Andriy Parubiy, in Lviv. The criminal is currently being searched for.
Later, Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on the situation.
According to the president, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko and Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko have just reported on the first known circumstances of Parubiy’s murder in Lviv.
Andriy Parubiy has been killed. My condolences to his family and friends. All necessary forces and means are involved in the investigation and search for the killer,” he wrote.
What is known about Andriy Parubiy
Andriy Parubiy is a well-known Ukrainian politician, Member of Parliament of many convocations. From April 14, 2016 to August 28, 2019, he was the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada.
Parubiy was born on January 31, 1971, in Chervonohrad, Lviv region. He graduated from the Faculty of History at Lviv University.
