French police reveal details of the Louvre robbery case

The French art museum Louvre in Paris was robbed in just seven minutes, the head of the republic’s Interior Ministry, Laurent Nunes, told reporters.
This was reported by Le Parisien newspaper, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
“They stole ‘priceless jewelry,'” he said. The robbery was “committed in seven minutes,” the newspaper quoted the minister as saying.
He added that the criminals had obviously been preparing for the theft for a long time and had studied the situation around the museum in advance.
The theft of jewelry from the Louvre was reported on October 19 by French Minister of Culture Rachida Dati. According to her, the museum was robbed in the morning during the opening. An investigation is underway.
Later, the museum’s press service reported that it was “closed for special reasons”.
