Cemeteries in Kherson region are banned on memorial days

The Defense Council of the Kherson region has decided to ban visits to cemeteries during memorial days, given the security situation. This was reported by the press service of the Main Department of the National Police in the Kherson region, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
It is noted that the ban does not apply to funeral processions.
Police patrols will also monitor the observance of public order on memorial days. Law enforcement officers will take response measures against violators of the established regime.
“We remind you that many cemeteries in the de-occupied communities remain mined or are within the range of enemy artillery and drones. Therefore, we urge residents to understand the temporary restrictions, refrain from traveling to cemeteries and strictly observe security measures,” the police called.
