More than 50 drugs added to the “Affordable Medicines” program

The Ministry of Health has added more than 50 medicines to the Affordable Medicines program, which can be obtained free of charge or with a small surcharge. This was reported by the press service of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

The list includes 52 new medicines, including 23 items of combined medicines. At the same time, 21 drugs from the general list are free of charge.

The list includes medicines for pain treatment, palliative care, treatment of endocrine system diseases, metabolic, autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, glaucoma, migraine, diseases in children, as well as combination medicines for the treatment of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.

Thus, starting from January 1, citizens can receive 596 medicinal products under the “Affordable Medicines” reimbursement program.
