“Reserve” has a new deferral from mobilization

A new type of deferment from mobilization has been added to the mobile application for persons liable for military service, Reserve. To use the service, the app needs to be updated. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
According to the ministry, the new deferral can be used by spouses in which the husband or wife has a disability of the first or second group.
“To get this deferral, information about the disability must be in the Unified Information System of the Social Sphere or in the relevant information system of the Pension Fund of Ukraine,” the Defense Ministry said.
It is also necessary to have a marriage record in the State Register of Civil Status Acts.
How to apply for a deferral if a spouse has a disability
It is quite simple to apply for a deferment:
- click on the three dots on the main screen of the Reserve application;
- select the item “Request a deferral”;
- select the appropriate category;
- you will receive a notification with the result.

We remind you that deferment to the Reserve was launched in November last year. Currently, 40% of all deferments are applied for in the application.
By the end of the year, the Ministry of Defense promises to introduce several more categories that will be able to apply through the service. Thus, Reserv is gradually becoming a key digital tool for adapting military accounting to the realities of a large-scale war.
