Previously, workshop No. 57 caught fire at the plant. It is reported that the roof has already collapsed, and the fire area is 4000 square metres.

Some Russian Telegram channels claim that such a large fire and smoke are caused by the fact that there were 500 litres of varnish in the shop. But the fire is visible from many kilometres away.

Other publications report that the fire was preceded by an explosion. However, there is no drone video available yet.

Uralmash is one of the most powerful machine-building plants in Russia, officially producing equipment for the metallurgy, energy and mining industries. However, it is known that at least since the beginning of the full-scale war, it has been producing military equipment.
